How channels are counted
Channels are counted per account, not per connection. On Starter, ten channels is ten channels whether you open one connection or both; spreading subscriptions across several connections just splits the same budget. Unsubscribing from a channel, or closing a connection, hands its channels straight back. A single station can occupy up to three channels at once:metar.obs.<icao>, metar.forecast.basic.<icao> and metar.forecast.hires.<icao>. Starter’s ten channels are enough for ten stations with one feed each, or five stations with both observations and forecasts.
Changing plans
Upgrades and cancellations are self-service from the portal’s Billing page, backed by Stripe, and propagate to open connections within seconds. When a subscription ends, the account returns to Sandbox; existing keys keep working, scoped back to the demo channel.Need bigger limits, customization or special connection?
